Psychological Assessment:
Assessment services for adults, children and adolescents in need of educational and/or emotional evaluation as well as comprehensive assessments for management and executives. For example, Psychological Assets provides evaluations and consultations to one of the Metropolitan Detroit area schools to assist in academic placements and psycho-educational interventions with teachers and parents.
Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis:
Comprehensive psychological treatment for children, adults, adolescents and families. Areas of specialty include sexual/physical/emotional abuse, depression/anxiety problems, chronic mental illnesses, identity development crisis, gender and race discrimination, crisis intervention and socio-cultural adaption difficulties.
Substance Abuse Treatment:
Comprehensive psychological treatment of alcohol and drug dependencies; services including assessment, educational and therapeutic interventions and collaborative work with probation officers and the courts. Treatment addresses abstinence, relapse prevention, recovery as well as psychological difficulties contributing to the substance abuse/dependence.
Psychiatric Evaluations and Medication Reviews:
Available through referrals to a selected number of well-regarded psychiatrists.
Psychological treatment and assessment are offered in the English and Russian languages.
